Cancer is an ugly word, and I'm sure that all of us can say someone we know and love has been affected by it. In 1986 I lost my mother to cancer. So I am taking some steps to help rid cancer from our midst, and I hope you will help me with your generosity.

On June 7th (show 999) I will be broadcasting Sock Hop from the team of Smith's Medical at Plainville's RELAY FOR LIFE, but with a twist. To make a request for a song to be played that night, I am asking you to make a donation to the American Cancer Society. The amount is yours to choose....either in person at the event OR during the weeks previous to that show.

Be absolutely sure to indicate what song and artist goes with your donation in the box marked "Private note for the person or team you are supporting".

PART 2 is the "YOUR GIFT" segment of the donation form. Here is where you choose the amount of your donation. Also NOTE THE BOX where you put the request info, artists name and song title. Don't want to make a request and just be a kind donor? Please indicate that in the same box so we know. Want to remain anonymous? That's totally your choice as well. THE ONLY RULE TO THE REQUEST SUBMISSION IS THAT THE SONG MUST BE IN THE NORMAL SOCK HOP SATURDAY NIGHT MUSIC LIBRARY.
